Review

Yes, Its one of the Idiotic, Boring movie that i have seen till now.. Its a movie that was advertised very high. Its none other than the latest Tamil Bluff "Thoranai" starring Vishal and shreya..
Idiotic.. Whats in that movie so idiotic ??? You may wonder. The thing is that there are many, But none from the original directors mind. Its a mix of almost all films released. If you want to watch all commercial movies, just watch this one..Its enough.. The movie resembles "pokkiri" in many areas, It resembles "Saami", in dialogue and the scene he runs and stands on Bottle dump and resembles "Thiruvilayadal arambam" in the proposal narration scenes. and these are some in my memory. But almost each and every scene (even some dialogues) are repeated..
Another thing that is bizzare is the sound.. Unwanted sounds in some areas and wanted sounds missing in some areas, The simple words are blacked out making the audience to clearly understand wats there. and it simply irritates to see our speakers going down often.
The logic is pure zero.. A normal youth will know how to drive a bike, drive a car, swim etc. But how come he handles all latest pistols at an accuracy greater than IPS officers and trained gundas :D . And once hero kicks a guy, he flies(after three rotations in air) and falls after his sir journey of 500m... lol..
Since his last film satyam was a flop, he should have worerked on stories of some other directors, so that it would have shown his acting side.. Apart from that he relied on his own production house and hence, made a commercial bluff(more than wat Rajni or Vijay does :D)
I wonder how after firing hundreds of rounds a qualis will run at high speed and how come they two where alive in... :D and another thing i have heard is in an encounter targeting the car, hte first man in Right (called as Rifler) will target the Cars right Tyre... But here nothing similar happens and the car blazes in high speed and the IPS officers follow them a few (looks more) kms without even informing any other police force or barricades or calling any other force to produce checkposts :D
In short.. Nothing new, and In my point sarvam is 1000 times better than this..

Instead of naming it as தோரணை they could have named it as மொக்கை

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://karthithinks.blogspot.com/2009/06/worst-idiotic-movie-i-saw-today-review.html' title='Worst Idiotic Movie I saw today.... Entrepreneur shape their corporations in their own image. Some times this is good. Some times this is bad. Microsoft is a good example of an entrepreneur who is insecure, greedy, and lazy. This evaluation is based on Microsoft's actions as a corporation (I have never meet Bill Gates).

Microsoft holds 90 percent of operating system pre-installs. But it is afraid of Linux (and it was afraid of Netscape, and is deathly afraid of Apple). Why? Considering their market share, Linux should be a minor irritant. Instead you get things like the "Get the Facts Campaign", which was so totally ludicrous that they dropped it. But they dropped long after the damage was done - they made themselves a laughing stock with that campaign.

Another example is the "Laptop Hunters" campaign. Why is Microsoft so scared of Apple? Apple's market share is so small, that the company is only a pimple on the face of IT. True, it's an expanding pimple, but 6 percent? Why even dignify it with a response? Because they don't think they can compete with Apple. Heck, look at the Amazon top 100 list of computers. About the only ones that sell for more than $1000,00 are made by Apple. Microsoft doesn't think that they can deliver an operating system that will make a computer worth more that $1000,00 to consumers.

And then there's ODF support, or should I say lack of support. Microsoft is the only ODF implementer that messed up the implementation. It wasn't for lack of talent, Microsoft has talented employees. Microsoft is scared of ODF, because it can be used (in implemented by a company that isn't deliberately trying to break it) in a wide range of software. No Lock-In. Microsoft doesn't want this. They want people to use Microsoft XML (Microsoft calls it Office Open XML, but while it may be used by Office, it isn't Open since it's impossible for anyone else to implement). If they are using Microsoft XML, they are locked into Microsoft Office. They are scared that given the option, people will use software from other vendors. They are so insecure that they don't believe that they can compete in the Office Suite market without lock in.

Microsoft doesn't want component manufacturers to release their hardware specifications. If component manufacturers do release the specifications, another operating system might be able to use that hardware, and Microsoft doesn't believe that they can compete in the operating system market. So the company tries to avoid having to compete, but making it hard for other operating systems to use the hardware.

Microsoft is greedy. Why would a company sell a sub-standard operating system (Windows Vista 7 for Netbooks) and encourage people to upgrade? Who would produce six different versions of the same operating system, with different capabilities, using 99.99% the same source code, and prices ranging from $114.00 to $340.00? Greed.

Again, Microsoft is greedy. When they eliminated floppy disks as an install medium for compact discs the price of Windows increased, even though the install medium price dropped dramatically.

Microsoft is lazy. Why offer 6 versions of desktop Windows, and 4 or 5 versions of Server Windows, all of which use virtually the same source code? Often the only difference between versions is that one version has an artificial limit of some sort (such as number of users) while the next one doesn't. But it's easier to do that, than to design something that truly is different, with new features that would attract more customers.

Microsoft is lazy. Rather than producing the best operating system in the world, one that would have users beating a path to their door, they produce an operating system that is pedestrian, and then try to block anyone else from the market by exclusionary deals and "Marketing Bonuses".

And of course we have the Internet. Microsoft would rather pay trolls to trash Linux and OSX, rather than producing something that is so much better than Linux or OSX, that you'd be crazy to use either. They would rather use advertising money to "bend editorial views" than produce something that reviewers would love.

With the amount of talent that Microsoft employs, they should be able to totally blow away Apple, totally blow away Linux, and make users so happy that they'd be crazy to use anything other than Windows. They could do this. But they are too insecure, too greedy, and too lazy to do this.

And if they don't change, it is going to kill the company. Read their SEC filings, the company is in bad shape. Not as bad as GM or Chrysler, but unless something is done, the company is headed for deep trouble. The current management team is a large part of this, They were hand picked by the company founder, and reflect his views. Steve Ballmer is a good salesman. He might be a great salesman. But as a company manager, he's terrible.

So, yes. You get a lot of trolls. People who say, "I've been running Linux for 5 years, and it's really not that good," because Microsoft would rather encourage trolls, than make a great product. If you check the Apple news sources and blogs, you see the exact same sort of posts, stating that OSX just doesn't work as well as Windows, that it doesn't support the right software, that it isn't really reliable, etc. Whether it's Linux or Apple that they are attacking, all of these people are lying. The proof is in the targets. Microsoft thinks that Apple and Linux are dangerous. They don't think that the BSD based operating systems are, so they don't get attacked in the same way, or at the same level. They don't think that Solaris is dangerous either, and you'll note in the Solaris blogs that you don't see this sort of attack very much either. You will if they decide either BSD or Solaris is dangerous.

And it's a terrible waste. Because Microsoft, if it wanted, could produce something fantastic. They have the talent. They have the capabilities. They don't have the drive.

Until they get the drive, I'll avoid using Microsoft products, and I'll advise others not to. And when I see trolls, I'll fight them in the forums. I hate dishonesty.

Article Courtesy: SAG

Bill Gate’s & Microsoft’s early days to now…

Bill Gate’s & Microsoft’s early days to now…

13 Years old Bill Gate and future Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen back in 1968. Anyway, I won’t ruin the surprise!

Now the big question is, what do you think is waiting for us 30 years from now?

Google launches Wave

Check out the developer preview at Google I/O

Google Wave is a new tool for communication and collaboration on the web, coming later this year. type='html'>Eventhough Latest tamil flick "sarvam" made the viewers bored, it did entertain all in one aspect, It was the BGM music that arya hears every time trisha pops in. The BGM is the Ilayaraja tune for the Movie "Vaazhkai" and the song name "Mella Mella" and it has was a foot tapping hit of the 80s and then later a while it was not noticed by anyone, But then now it has started to top charts after its use in the Vishnuvardhan's Sarvam movie. The Original version stars Silk smitha and simple composition, but mesmerised the viewers of that times and even the youth now.
It was also used in the maniratnam's First Movie called "Pallavi-Anupallavi" in Kannada.
Below is a footage of the song...

Satyam bid: cognizant gains higher chance..

Hours before the final lap of the Satyam bids, US-based IT services company Cognizant is holding a crucial meeting in Hyderabad.

According to information available exclusively with we the cognizites, Cognizant CEO Francisco D'souza flew in to Hyderabad on Friday to hold a senior management call on Satyam. He also addressed the trainees in the campus. Surprisingly this was his first visit to the centre since its inception.

The move is interesting because Cognizant, so far, has not made any formal comment on the Satyam bid.

Cognizant was incorporated as a 26% partnership between Satyam and the Dun and Bradsheet Group in 1994. Now, with over $924 million in cash, the offshoot of Satyam is gearing up to gobble the parent.

D'souza said Coginzant is best equipped to handle the Satyam bid, and the company has enough cash to acquire Satyam.

UTVi has learnt that two bidders - Wilbur Ross and Tech Mahindra - are unlikely to bid for Satyam. That leaves only two players - L&T and Cognizant - in the race to acquire 51% stake in Satyam.

The new onwer is likely to be announced tomorrow(13/04/2009). The deal is expected to be based on a share price between Rs 55-60, and the valuation of the company is expected to be around $2.4 billion.

Will Cognizant Takeover Satyam

Almost the day is nearing..
just 5 more days to the D-Day.. April 13th
The day Satyam will announce the bid winner for the buying of the scam hit Indian IT Major..
Running up in the competition the Final list released had the potential winners listed as L&T, Tech Mahindra, both from India and Gross from US and also the US based Cognizant technology solutions...
Cognizant Technology solutions is always related to satyam as both had the same roots of origin..
Yeah Satyam Started its growth as DBSS(Dun & Bradstreet Satyam Software) with DB holding 74% and Satyam holding 26% shares in it.. Later Satyam software split up as a separate one and so DB needed an IT arm and hence it started CTS.. Cognizant Technology Solutions as its IT arm.. So both Satyam and Cognizant Belong to the same family and there will be a soft corner and eye on satyam for Cognizant..
Moreover Cognizant is concerned on its US base of clients while Satyam has global reach because of its SAP.... so if cognizant wins the bid surely it will extend the reach of Cognizant and it will also make it move further as the Top IT Major of the county...
Hence the possibilities are high for Cognizant overtaking Satyam
Lets wait and see if it happens

After a long time....

Yeah...
Its almost two months back i last posted a post..
All because of the Unemployment...
It is really absurd to be in home, when we have an offer letter in hand, but we dont know when we will be called..
Just speculations running in our mind about the date we will be called and expecting each God to be in favour of us....
Totally a stupid phase of life..
Losing Salary, losing life, losing fun, losing experience...
Gaining nothing..
Totally the life sucks to be in such way,.......
Had I been to any college I wud have completed 2 semesters as a lecturer.
At least I could have finished one year of my MBA dream
Or if i have been Married I could atleast have became a Father ... :D :D
But nothing happened..

Just Idle .... We do so that we may get a public identity and may get to know well to many friends. But there is a great risk in doing so warns the experts. According to a transcript in the hindu, These are posing a way for the intruders to get thourough knowledge of you. For example let us consider two sites and the danger posed by it. We are will be well aware of the sites ORKUT and LINKED IN . These are the leading sites in offering personal and professional profile through their social networking concept. You might be thinking that the ORKUT reveals only the personal part like your studies, mail address and nothing else. But there is a part in it called the Communities. I bet mostly 99% of orkut users will be a member of the community representing our company, college or so. This is enough for them. This gives them the hint that U work for the XYZ firm. Then they check the community for the XYZ firm in LINKED IN. Undoubtedly U will be a member there too and tey will create a profile posing as an employee of XYZ firm and they will join your network. You will also think him as your colleague and u will authorise him. but he can easily get to know well about u, ur habits, Ur income and more. Then he can easily nab u at the place u frequent(Gained from ORKUT) and demand for the salary on the salary day(thanks to Linked in). So If you are in these networks, it does not mean that you should discontinue using them. U can use them while some care need to be taken. Just make sure that the Important information are not shared. Use different id for different sites. Best is use gmail because it will prevent spamming. U can find how it prevents in the next post I am posting. Wishing you all safe and secure profile over the web.

Preventing spam using gmail:

There is a best method to prevent Spam while using gmail. U will be using the gmail address like example@gmail.com If you are signing an account in Hi5 u shud mention the address. These address are sometimes outsourced to spammers. So best u can do is to use masking. If you sign in hi5 use example-hi5@gmail.com, for orkut use example-orkut@gmail.com. In that case the mails to all id will be directed to the mail address example@gmail.com. so that the spam bots will not mail our inbox. This is a feature thats available long long ago. But it is more unfamiliar among people. If you want to sign more forums but concerned on spamming, use disposable address available in many sites or check www.bugmenot.com to use already created accounts. Happy Anonymous Browsing.... :)

Sensex Havoc. How to invest in Share Market...???

We have seen in the last year this time the sensex was scaling to the peaks as it even touched the 22K mark. But slowly the situation turned down and the sensex fall deeply and even appeared to touch 8K mark which was not thought to be reached for ever. Approximately a loss of 63% of activity. Why does this happen? The main essence of this is the thought of the share holders to become millionaires in a night. Is it possible? No way that's why they suffered such a heavy blow in the ongoing crisis laden market. Sensex is not only determined by our trading. The trading of all shareholders affect all persons. If panic selling occurs then the sensex index falls to bottom and if buying of shares is more then it scales to peaks. If they wish they can raise the index of the shares. Its simple and based on faith. Even if a crisis occurs and we have faith on the concern then we will never go to sell the shares of our loyal concern and hence the index will be a stable one. But what happens is all are thinking we may lose the money we invested and they hurriedly empty the shares and fill the meager amount they got into their pockets. This is the main reason for the share market to topple like the present scenario. Most of the investors who came to stock market after the stocks were at a peak high of 22K were those the most affected in the present crisis according to the reviewers. If it was a share holder who have been there before the 22K summit, then he might have not suffered the most because they never wait for such huge profits. They simply remove their shares once they have gained 10% gain and then they invest again. This helps them to withstand crisis and they allocate a certain part of their income/saving for stock marketing and they will never invest anything more than that whatever they may gain by it. And another thing is that they will never withdrew a share however it may lose. They will wait for the share to reach back to the face value and then they will wait for it reach 10% higher. This is the best stocking practice and if all practice this then the unwanted crisis may not prevail and the losses incurred to their assets and their life will also be saved.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://karthithinks.blogspot.com/2009/01/sensex-havoc-how-to-invest-in-share.html' title='Sensex Havoc. These really affects anyone hearing this. It affected me more to be precise as I had experienced such falls in Friendships. I am a typical guy who adore friendship as the most precious even more than my life. I respect the friends attitudes and their own base character. But is it possible for all with the same character to be my friends. Impossible. Nah... Yes that's what happened in my case. If I say something o a person and if he cannot sense in what mood I am saying it, then What is there to say him as a friend. A true friend will read our Feelings, Not our Words, They look our Eyes more than our Mouth. But it was not the case with mine. And also If he/she is a true friend then they should learn to deal any problem occurred with the concerned person only rather than taking advices of other common/personal friends. A Friend of mine (Who turned out to be the worst traitor I have ever seemed) came in the guise of solving the issue between me and my friend. My friend trusted him and told everything about the issue and the Traitor just made my friend think all wrong of me. He portrayed my character as worst as a road side mongrel. The irony part of the incident is that my friend too believed the traitor because I think the situation was like that. Then The friend started thinking bad of me and stopped from speaking to me. And eventually another common friend of me also stopped talking to me. The comical part of the story is that traitor warning me of serious incidents if i ever spoke to that friend. I have never ever felt that bad in my life. Even I could not sleep properly for days. Is this what they call true friendship. I even apologized (even though I am not guilty) to the friend but in vain. My friend didn't even pay heed to my words. Another irony came to add misery to it, the traitor had informed the friends(here after I can mentioned them EX-Friends as they are..) that I am talking ill about the traitor and the Ex-friends to my other friends. In fact my other friends were really understanding and they even said that U speak with them alone, Just speak to us in phone or mail. But one of the ex-friend demanded that I should stop talking to the friends group. The reason is simple. The traitor have woven stories about the friends that they are wrong. The traitor is the best double gamer I have ever seen. They fought with my friends and split the class into two. Now the Ex-Friends are happy with the traitor. But Still I remember the Now present friends of min are my best friends ever. Because they know well my character and confide in all i do. This is the essence of friendship. I ever don't wish to face the traitor's face or those of the Ex-Friends who left me in the pretext of the words uttered by that imbecile. So ever confide in your friend. The proverb says that truth will be one day out of the box. Yes its the same here too. Its too out, but what is surprising is that the truth is direct from the mouth of the beguiler. The company had been in the alarm radar of investors and clients since it tried to acquire its own subsidiaries. Once the company withdrew the deal proposed to acquire them on the New year eve, the company lost its value in the stock market. The prices soared. The confession of the CEO, just dismayed and shocked everyone. Even I cant believe my ears. How can a top notch management person can hold this truth without the knowledge of his colleagues for years. Seven years of Fraudulent activities like forging of accounts that amount to 7000 crores, A huge account that made this crime to be dealt with the Serious Fraud Investigation department. The confession really made the stocks to lose more than 75% of its then current value. The promoters and stock holders sold the stocks even at that meager value. The liquified stocks, Forged accounts, Self motive all were not expected to be done by a person leading the 4th largest Software company of India, which has 182 of the Fortune500 companies as clients. This have indeed affected the already financial crisis struck Software industry, and have also reduced the HR minings and also laid a great question mark on the financial statements released by companies every quarter.

THE FUTURE OF IT SECTOR IN INDIA:

The most searched words in web search engines according to google and yahoo are about the "Global Slowdown". The Financial crisis made the U.S top Banks to tumble and made all the stock markets go awry. Bailouts and recession have topped the search keywords in 2008 rather than the "Katrina Kaif" and "Gazini". The Financial sector crisis have absolutely affected all the sectors in the country. But the most affected sector seems to be the IT sector. Even the ITES sector have survived this as it had nothing to do with recession. This made nearly 6Lakh Americans to lose their jobs and Many Indians getting pink slips or getting their joining dates delayed. Why such things are happening to the crowned IT Sector. The main reason is the Nature of their products. Mainly most of the IT companies are service oriented i.e they serve other clients. The economy of the clients mainly govern the future growth of the company. But a few are product based companies which produce of their own. These companies are the less hit compared to the other service/solutions based companies. For eg. the giant HP, Intel Fired more than the smaller ones like CSC, Honeywell. So where is the future of IT in India heading to. More and more product based companies are the need of the hour. Or the Service companies should start their own product units. Only that can save the current economic crisis scenario.
<img width='1' height='1' released is at it again.

This time, he claims to have easily accessed the iLike application on Ning. Specifically, he says he can add and remove songs on users’ playlists. And more damaging, he’s noticed that the application caches a user’s friends list in the client-side code. Give him a Ning username and he can give you details on their friends: relationship to user, last date of update, photo, profile creation date and part of their email address.

He’s pulled up Ning co-founder Marc Andreessen’s friend list to prove his point, and shared part of it with me. I won’t be publishing it here, but it shows that he got access to the application.

As with the RockYou/Plaxo hack, no real damage has been done, but it shows that in the rush to get applications out the door quickly, attention to security may have fallen by the side of the road.

TheHarmonyGuy now has a blog up where he is writing about his hacks of type='text'>History of India . An overview :

The people of India have had a continuous civilization since 2500 B.C., when the inhabitants of the Indus River valley developed an urban culture based on commerce and sustained by agricultural trade. This civilization declined around 1500 B.C., probably due to ecological changes.
During the second millennium B.C., pastoral, Aryan-speaking tribes migrated from the northwest into the subcontinent. As they settled in the middle Ganges River valley, they adapted to antecedent cultures.

The political map of ancient and medieval India was made up of myriad kingdoms with fluctuating boundaries. In the 4th and 5th centuries A.D., northern India was unified under the Gupta Dynasty. During this period, known as India's Golden Age, Hindu culture and political administration reached new heights.

Islam spread across the Indian subcontinent over a period of 500 years. In the 10th and 11th centuries, Turks and Afghans invaded India and established sultanates in Delhi. In the early 16th century, descendants of Genghis Khan swept across the Khyber Pass and established the Mughal (Mogul) Dynasty, which lasted for 200 years. From the 11th to the 15th centuries, southern India was dominated by Hindu Chola and Vijayanagar Dynasties. During this time, the two systems--the prevailing Hindu and Muslim--mingled, leaving lasting cultural influences on each other.

The first British outpost in South Asia was established in 1619 at Surat on the northwestern coast. Later in the century, the East India Company opened permanent trading stations at Madras, Bombay, and Calcutta, each under the protection of native rulers.
The British expanded their influence from these footholds until, by the 1850s, they controlled most of present-day India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. In 1857, a rebellion in north India led by mutinous Indian soldiers caused the British Parliament to transfer all political power from the East India Company to the Crown. Great Britain began administering most of India directly while controlling the rest through treaties with local rulers.
In the late 1800s, the first steps were taken toward self-government in British India with the appointment of Indian councilors to advise the British viceroy and the establishment of provincial councils with Indian members; the British subsequently widened participation in legislative councils. Beginning in 1920, Indian leader Mohandas K. Gandhi transformed the Indian National Congress political party into a mass movement to campaign against British colonial rule. The party used both parliamentary and nonviolent resistance and non-cooperation to achieve independence.

On August 15, 1947, India became a dominion within the Commonwealth, with Jawaharlal Nehru as Prime Minister. Enmity between Hindus and Muslims led the British to partition British India, creating East and West Pakistan, where there were Muslim majorities. India became a republic within the Commonwealth after promulgating its constitution on January 26, 1950.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://karthithinks.blogspot.com/2007/08/history-of-india-overview.html' title='History of India . In this project I receive and publish Love Messages send by people from all around the world.
It’s where you can share what you feel for someone special in your life: you’re boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, sun, daughter, mother, father…
Or where you can simply share a Love Thought with the world.

It’s a Blog about love in our life… love in the world.

It all started with the wars in this little planet we live in.
A piece of love drops in the middle of a world full of hate?
Can that be contagious?
That's the point.
The idea is to spread the love and/or friendship around the world.
But are there one million people that do like the use of the "love" word in their lives? Well that was the question that originated this project.
I believe there is... and the only way I can prove it, is with this project.
You don’t need courage to say I LOVE YOU to the person that you love.
All you need is:
A computer with Internet connection…
onemillionslovemessages on your browser…
And your heart and fingers to write what you feel.

It’s fantastic how we can make a difference in a person’s life only by saying or writing 3 simple words “I LOVE U”.

Did Americans Really Land on the moon

It is said that Niel Armstrong landed on the moon first...But it is now said that the Americans never landed on the moon first, It was shot as a picture on the American Studio, Because the shadows prove that there was many light source and also the flag would be waiving but there is no chance of flag to waive in moon as there is no air in the lunar space.....
