Preventing spam using gmail:

There is a best method to prevent Spam while using gmail. U will be using the gmail address like example@gmail.com If you are signing an account in Hi5 u shud mention the address. These address are sometimes outsourced to spammers. So best u can do is to use masking. If you sign in hi5 use example-hi5@gmail.com, for orkut use example-orkut@gmail.com. In that case the mails to all id will be directed to the mail address example@gmail.com. so that the spam bots will not mail our inbox. This is a feature thats available long long ago. But it is more unfamiliar among people.
